About The Position

This internship position is for an Analyst Intern to work on-site in the Indianapolis, IN office during the Summer of 2027. The intern will perform all aspects of a project or task, applying knowledge gained to future projects. They will possess and apply a solid understanding of the work environment, be punctual and present, and have a general understanding of various services provided to clients. The role involves responding to inquiries and requests, striving to attain goals set by supervisors, and maintaining a positive attitude towards self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer. The intern will gain computer proficiency in administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processing, dashboards, and internet research, and must maintain a professional appearance and manner. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effectively multi-task with planning and efficiency
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office suite, SQL Server Management Studio, and PowerBI

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Active participation in student organizations and work experience in related field is preferred
  • Familiarity and/or an interest in Excel or Structured Query Language (SQL) data analytics tools preferred
  • Interest in health care data analysis preferred
  • Active participation in student organizations and work experience in related field a plus, but not required
