Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in automotive production
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related fields. An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Special skills in Lean Management and IE, like: Factory systems for time factor calculations and process management, Industrial Engineering studies, Human Work Design Tools, Lean Management, MTM method, Continuous Improvement Process Management
  • Fundamental skills in office applications and presenting results to the team, the management or the board
  • Skills in web-based applications
  • Costumer orientated skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the steering and refining of the Lean culture of Scout as well as a unified production system in all departments for the scout motors production site and its management
  • Implementing and tracking of measures to increase productivity on the basis of relevant KPIs and contribution to an overall plant productivity reporting system
  • Supporting the establishment of processes and optimization concepts for the production processes
  • Reporting of the productivity and budget KPI of the plant
  • Evaluation of the time factor/labor requirements and working out of the production time credit
  • Supporting site specific programs, strategies, communication concepts and objectives agreements
  • Support the design of workplaces and new work processes, including their system-side mapping with work boards, layouts and point plans, taking into account methods, walking routes, supply of materials and vehicle sequence
  • Optimization of shift systems and production speeds in order to fit output and manpower requirements
  • Ergonomic evaluation and design of work processes using the methodology agreed in the company to enhance ergonomic workplaces
  • Participation in team internal projects and topic development concepts
  • This Role is carried out responsibly in factual cooperative collaboration with supervisors, employees, involved and affected departments - in compliance with existing guidelines, standards and regulations
