About The Position

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Experience with hardware and software platforms aligned with the District's Information Systems Service Strategic Plan is essential. Substitutions for the degree and experience requirements are possible with additional relevant experience and approval from the Director, or for a BPS Systems Analyst II with significant tenure and specific approvals. A valid State Driver's License is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Computer Science preferred.
• Five (5) years relevant experience in related field required.
• Hardware and software platforms experience consistent with the District’s Information Systems Service Strategic Plan.
• Valid State Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

• An additional four (4) years relevant experience and an Associate’s degree may substitute for Bachelor’s degree with the approval from the Director (exercising this substitution would require a total of 9 years of relevant work experience).
• BPS Systems Analyst II with a minimum of three (3) years’ service may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years relevant experience required, with the approval of the Director and concurrence of the Cabinet Level approver.
• Multiple years of work experience in some/all of these areas: ERP, Focus ERP, System Admin of ERPs.
• SQL report writing, large data sets w/ complex joins, FL DOE surveys
