About The Position

This job is responsible for capturing and refining business or system requirements that may involve a software change. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyzing problems, capturing requirements, creating solutions, solving problems either manually or through software, and providing subject-matter expertise on products to support scope and requirement decisions. Job expectations include collaborating with project stakeholders to analyze and confirm requirements, creating, analyzing, and improving processes and writing user and technical stories.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of applicable experience
  • Extensive experience in a business analysis function, with expertise working with different technologies and Lines of Business areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and analysis and translating business requirements into solution design proposals utilizing modern UI/UX design principles (Responsive Design, etc).
  • Extensive experience of Global Markets, financial products (specifically Equity, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, etc.) and how they are structured.
  • Strong experience of project delivery and release/deployment management
  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive dialog with senior business stakeholders globally
  • Works autonomously in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to present findings to Business users appropriately.
  • Proficiency and experience in using SQL for data querying and analysis in large, complex database systems.
  • Strong experience in developing test cases and performing testing as part of various phases/cycles, e.g. QA, UAT , System Integration Testing including interpreting testing results from modern testing tools (such as Litmus).
  • Strong experience working in an Agile Scrum methodology
  • Experience of project and change management and a demonstrable history of delivery

Nice To Haves

  • Domain knowledge in Regulatory Disclosure reporting such as Equity Aggregation, Large Shareholders Reporting, Short Selling Reporting, Take-Over Panel, Issuer Requests
  • Experience with Horizon JIRA tool
  • Risk management and control experience

Responsibilities

  • Understand stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem
  • Support cost and benefit analysis to align technology solutions to business strategy
  • Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests
  • Identify the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assist with identifying integration points and the end-to-end solution design
  • Assist users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting, and may help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs
  • Document processes, procedures and workflows for technology as needed
