About The Position

Key Responsibilities: Implement and support IT solutions within the healthcare environment. Analyze and document complex use cases and workflows. Engage in continuous learning to expand knowledge in healthcare IT. Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented approach. Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite for project management. Flexibly adapt to an expanded work schedule during key project phases. Assess current state workflows and develop optimized future state workflows.

Requirements

  • Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with 2+ years of IT implementation and/or support experience.
  • At least one year related application experience.
  • Very good oral, written communication and followup skills.
  • Very good interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Very good desktop tool usage including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

  • Self-sufficient; able to manage time effectively.
  • BA/ BS degree Bachelors
  • EpicCare Ambulatory

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of application experience.
  • Healthcare experience desirable.

  • Good SharePoint usage.
  • Advanced degree or clinical certification Masters
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher).
  • Certifications in Ambulatory, SmartForms, Research, CareEverywhere applications.
  • Experience with Surescripts, Dragon Medical One, IMO, Natus, Cadwell, SRS, and MK Aprima.
  • Over two years of experience in a related field.
  • Project management experience.
  • Participation in at least one full implementation lifecycle.
  • Good SharePoint usage.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with contracts Assists in the negotiation of physician managed care contracts, analytics, and financial modeling.
  • Coordinates enrollment Coordinates physician enrollment in managed care plans.
  • Ensures compliance Ensures compliance of managed care companies with negotiated contracts.
  • Resolves payor issues Follows up and resolving payment issues with Insurance Payors.
  • Acts as liaison Acts as a liaison between physician offices and Insurance Payors.
  • Assists with meetings Schedules, coordinates, and documents for all PHO related meetings.
  • Maintains tracking logs Creates and maintains tracking logs for Insurance Payor issues and accountability for closing out items.
  • Oversees PHO line Oversees PHO phone line, answers and responds to inquires, and assist with urgent physician office issues.
  • Attendance Maintains satisfactory attendance record.
  • Maintains punctuality Reports for duty punctually.
  • Adjusts to change Adjusts to changing situations and work assignments.
