About The Position

The Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Analyst II is responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining the hospital’s EMR and billing applications to ensure accurate and efficient claims processing, payment posting, and revenue cycle operations. Key responsibilities include designing, building, testing, and implementing solutions within the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing application and its functionality such as Single Billing Office (SBO), Claims and Remittance, Charge Router, Patient Statements, and related modules. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Participation in an on-call rotation and occasional evening or weekend support may be required.

Requirements

  • Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with 2+ years of IT implementation and/or support experience.
  • BA/BS required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing/SBO
  • Epic Resolute Professional Billing
  • Epic Claims/Remittance
  • Participation in at least one full implementation lifecycle.
  • Good SharePoint usage.
  • Build experience with charge router, workqueue configuration, collection agency workflows, statement processing, benefit engine, and estimates.
  • Participation in at least one full implementation lifecycle.
  • Good SharePoint usage.
  • Very good oral, written communication and follow-up skills.
  • Very good interpersonal relationship skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Assists with contracts
  • Assists in the negotiation of physician managed care contracts, analytics, and financial modeling.
  • Coordinates enrollment
  • Coordinates physician enrollment in managed care plans.
  • Ensures compliance
  • Ensures compliance of managed care companies with negotiated contracts.
  • Resolves payor issues
  • Follows up and resolving payment issues with Insurance Payors.
  • Acts as liaison
  • Acts as a liaison between physician offices and Insurance Payors.
  • Assists with meetings
  • Schedules, coordinates, and documents for all PHO related meetings.
  • Maintains tracking logs
  • Creates and maintains tracking logs for Insurance Payor issues and accountability for closing out items.
  • Oversees PHO line
  • Oversees PHO phone line, answers and responds to inquiries, and assists with urgent physician office issues.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance record.
  • Reports for duty punctually.
  • Adjusts to changing situations and work assignments.
