About The Position

The Foreign Exchange Middle Office Analyst I supports the Global Banking and Market Solutions division through client enablement, process improvements, and client and trade support. The role requires a basic understanding of the foreign exchange trade lifecycle, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across teams. The analyst contributes to the development of the FX Middle Office team and supports FX trading and sales teams. This is a hybrid role with work regularly taking place inside and outside the New York office.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of financial services experience, or a high school diploma or GED and 5 years of financial services experience.
• Basic understanding of the foreign exchange trade lifecycle.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Enable clients to trade Global Banking & Market Solutions products across platforms.
• Support trade execution and provide client support, including front-line responses to client inquiries.
• Produce reports for limit monitoring and control reporting.
• Support audits and controls reviews by providing necessary documentation and data.
• Escalate issues in accordance with internal risk and escalation frameworks.
• Support implementation of technology solutions to improve efficiency.
• Help maintain internal controls and visibility.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Technology, Risk, and Operations teams.
• Support Sales and Traders in their daily activities.
• Assist with user acceptance testing for system enhancements.
