About The Position

The Analyst, HR Systems & Analytics plays a key role in supporting the organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and related processes. This position is responsible for providing front-line support to system users, maintaining employee and position data integrity, producing HR reports and analytics, coordinating data audits, supporting system testing activities, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The HR Analyst serves as a trusted resource for HR systems administration while ensuring compliance with data governance, security, and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strong understanding of HR data management and data quality principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of data privacy, governance, and information security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR systems support requests, managing the shared HRIS inbox and resolving issues or escalating complex matters to Senior HR Systems Analysts as required.
  • Review, validate, and approve employee and position transactions within the SuccessFactors system.
  • Verify that employment letters and supporting documentation are present, accurate, and aligned with organizational requirements.
  • Respond to ad hoc and scheduled reporting requests from HR, business leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Manipulate, validate, and analyze data using Excel and other reporting tools, including anonymizing sensitive information where required.
  • Semi-annually conduct comprehensive reviews of employee and position records to identify discrepancies, missing information, and data quality issues.
  • Support system enhancement and configuration testing activities by executing test scenarios and validating expected outcomes.
  • Participate in regression testing for semi-annual system releases and updates.
  • Document test results, identify issues, and work with senior team members to ensure successful deployment of system changes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve operational efficiency, including enhancements to workflows, reporting, and system utilization.
  • Highlight knowledge gaps and training needs to support improved adoption and effective use of HR systems.
