About The Position

The Government Reporting Analyst supports Viatris's government pricing and reporting activities. The role applies relevant statutes, regulations, guidance, price-reporting concepts, and customer contractual terms to sales and rebates. It uses analytical tools to calculate pricing, assess changes, support compliance, and submit required product attributes and pricing within regulatory deadlines. The analyst also maintains current written policies and procedures and contributes to team best practices.

Requirements

Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis, particularly gross-to-net sales.
Strong ability to use Excel functions and formulas, and ability to learn and apply other analytical tools.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and apply logic to solve problems.
Ability to streamline routine work, propose solutions, and implement process changes.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy to ensure reporting compliance.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to team progress toward deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively across multifunctional teams.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, data analytics, or a related field, and 1 to 2 years of experience; a combination of experience and/or education will also be considered.
Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret general business documents, contracts, and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of statutes, regulations, and guidance supporting Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, and VA price reporting.
Knowledge of SAP and the ModelN Flex system.

Responsibilities

Learn and apply statutes, regulations, and guidance supporting Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, and VA price reporting.
Learn and apply price-reporting concepts such as Class of Trade and Transaction Type.
Apply customer contractual terms to sales and rebates.
Adapt internal processes to changing price-reporting and operational requirements.
Use Excel, SAP, ModelN Flex, and other tools to calculate pricing, support compliance, and perform analyses such as period-to-period price comparisons.
Meet internal timelines to allow analysis and review before required price reporting.
Accurately calculate and submit product attributes and pricing (AMP, BP, 340B, NFAMP, and FCP) within regulatory deadlines.
Ensure written policies and procedures are current, complete, and aligned with internal expectations and reporting requirements.
Assist team members in related functions and help establish best practices for the Viatris Government Reporting team.
