About The Position

As a Fund Servicing Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will support fund servicing operations by executing routine transactions and collaborating with various teams. You will apply fund servicing knowledge to help ensure smooth operations and identify opportunities for process improvement. The role includes capturing and validating security prices used to calculate and submit mutual fund Net Asset Values (NAVs), analyzing pricing movements, resolving issues with pricing vendors, and researching exceptions. Emotional intelligence, active listening, and questioning skills are important for building client relationships and achieving effective outcomes.

Requirements

• Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in fund servicing operations, focused on routine transactions and process improvements.
• Ability to apply active listening and questioning techniques to understand and address client needs.
• Ability to work flexible hours to cover occasional late finishes as demanded by the business.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, applying innovation and design thinking techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine fund servicing transactions accurately and in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with operations to streamline processes and improve efficiency in fund servicing operations.
• Follow cybersecurity practices, detect possible threats, and deploy measures to safeguard information and systems.
• Use active listening and questioning to understand and address client needs and foster strong relationships.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using innovation and design thinking techniques to improve the efficiency and resilience of the operating platform.
• Capture and validate security prices used to calculate and submit mutual fund Net Asset Values (NAVs).
• Analyze pricing movements against market expectations and work with pricing vendors to resolve issues and minimize risk.
• Research and resolve exceptions promptly and effectively.
