Position Summary This is an exciting finance opportunity supporting our IT FP&A segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining databases, collaboration with team members to verify proper financial controls are in place, working with our lead FP&A team members to complete month end closes and forecasts. This role will provide an opportunity for the right candidate to grow their knowledge of our FP&A systems and expand their accounting skillset.

Requirements

1+ year of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Possess good time management skills
Capability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Exhibit good communication skills
Be well organized and detail oriented
Work independently to compile information

Nice To Haves

Experience in accounting and/or finance experience preferably in healthcare or financial services
Experience in financial closing process
Experience working with other finance areas (e.g., finance or operations)
Experience with Oracle and/or SAP
Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and interpret results
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
High level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially when working under tight deadlines during reporting/close periods

Responsibilities

Process general ledger journal entries
Prepare account reconciliations and ensure compliance with company policy
Assist with preparation of reports requested by customers and FP&A leadership
Identify problems, communicate to leadership and execute corrective actions with the help of management
Participate in special projects and respond to ad hoc requests as needed
