As an FP&A Analyst at Avelo Airlines, you’ll have the opportunity of guiding finances through the always changing airline industry. The role seeks a sharp, detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join the finance crew, offering hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis, supporting efforts to maintain and execute the financial strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Understanding of accounting and financial planning principles.
• Self-starter with ability and desire to dig into details.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player who can collaborate across functions and embrace Avelo’s commitment to One Crew.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Dive into financial, operational, and customer data to develop models for areas like compensation, airports, and materials.
• Support the development and maintain robust financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and cash flows.
• Help update and maintain our short-term budget and contribute to our 5-year financial model.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business performance.
• Analyze financial variances and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Support, prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Partner with departments to support strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations for special projects and business cases.
