As an Analyst, Investment Operations you will support the External Portfolio Management (EPM) Investment teams with transaction management, asset servicing, investment accounting, reporting and valuations. You will also assist with the day-to-day evaluation, accounting, and monitoring of relevant investment portfolios, covering all asset classes and security types in Hedge Funds, Co-Investments, and Managed Account Platform (MAP).

Requirements

Undergraduate degree or college diploma in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related field.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Team player who enjoys working in a high performing culture and is open to evolving and changing priorities
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Demonstrated interest in automation, process optimization, continuous improvement, and AI-enabled tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) with the ability to identify practical use cases that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging technologies, including Gen AI, to solve business problems and enhance investment operations processes.

Responsibilities

Partner with colleagues from the Investment Departments, Finance, Legal, and Risk to assist in investment closings through documentation review, system setups, transaction entries and settlements.
Support and manage lifecycle of transactions and deal pipeline and asset servicing; ensure investments are accurately always represented, track upcoming activity, reconcile records, and process activities.
Provide ongoing operational support including the preparation and review of management base and incentive fee accruals, capital calls and redemptions, and invoice payments.
Prepare or review monthly NAV calculations for external pooled funds and analyze the difference between estimate and final values, as well market value and PnL changes.
Contribute to providing data for financial statements, note disclosures and management reports and ensure accuracy and completeness, as well as providing valuable insights and commentary.
Assist in processing complex investments with the ability to understand impact on trading, portfolio construction, reporting and performance.
Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
Continually strive for operational excellence; seek ways to streamline processes and create operational efficiencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement, enhanced control and data integrity (with a focus on using Gen AI tools).
