About The Position
The Ultra Finance function leads the budgeting and forecasting processes and supports the strategy process, as well as managing performance against budget. In addition, it ensures that effective financial controls are in operation in all businesses to ensure stewardship of the Group's assets. It ensures compliance with best professional standards, statutory financial requirements and fiscal provision and undertakes tax planning activities and ensure that the Group's tax reporting duties are discharged. It ensures that the Group has adequate long-term funding to meet the requirements of its Strategic Plan and supports M&A. The Project & Cost Accounting function records the costs associated with a particular project or job in Ultra. It collects all costs, invoices, time cards and other direct project charges and assures they are recorded in the correct charge account. The function will create data that tracks, reports on and analyses the financial performance of projects. The role holder manages professionals in a defined area of Ultra. Develops plans for their team to ensure optimum use of time and resources. Ensures team performance is aligned and contributes to the overall plans of their area.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
- 7+ years of related experience
