About The Position

The EHS Analyst will support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) function across FTAI Aviation’s sites by assisting with data collection, program administration, compliance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. This entry-level role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to build a strong foundation in EHS within an aviation and industrial environment. The EHS Analyst will work closely with the EHS Manager and site leadership to help ensure regulatory compliance, enhance safety performance, and promote a proactive safety culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (or in progress)
  • 0–2 years of experience in an EHS, safety, environmental, manufacturing, aviation, or industrial setting (internships and co-ops acceptable)
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, follow procedures, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with EHS software systems is a plus
  • Ability to work in both office and industrial/shop floor environments
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Travel to other FTAI Aviation sites (Miami and Medley) is required

Nice To Haves

  • ASP or pursuit of safety certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local regulatory requirements
  • Support Safety Management System (SMS) activities, including data tracking, performance metrics, and documentation
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis; help track corrective and preventive actions
  • Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and ergonomic assessments under guidance of senior EHS staff
  • Perform routine site safety inspections; document findings and support follow-up actions
  • Support tracking of EHS training for employees, contractors, and supervisors
  • Maintain EHS records including logs, permits, inspection reports, training records, and regulatory submissions
  • Assist with environmental compliance programs such as hazardous waste management, stormwater inspections, and air permitting documentation
  • Analyze EHS data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, HR, and facilities to support employee engagement in EHS initiatives
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the EHS Manager and perform other duties as assigned.
