About The Position

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Senior EHS Analyst. This role is based in Davenport, IA. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Eaton Mission Systems in Davenport, Iowa is seeking an EHS Senior Analyst to ensure our site’s compliance with environmental, safety and health regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution in occupational safety, environmental studies, industrial hygiene, manufacturing engineering, management/business, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of (5) five years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing practices and processes and the relationship to environmental, safety and health risk.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 70-mile radius of Davenport, IA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site in achieving EHS targets and objectives.
  • Lead development, maintenance and achievement of corporate, division and site-level environmental, safety and health strategic initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with local, state and federal environmental, safety and health regulations including OSHA, EPA, IDNR, etc.
  • Provide technical oversight to ensure compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations including: RCRA, SWPPP, SPCC, CWA, etc.
  • Ensure compliance activities and reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support corporate and regulatory compliance audits.
  • Develop and manage compliance trainings and site-wide communications to address near misses, incidents, and to promote employee engagement.
  • Provide EHS management of change support and guidance for new projects, facilities changes and process changes.
  • Maintain responsibility for the environmental compliance programs for the facilities, including Stormwater, Wastewater, Chemical Management, and other programs as needed.
  • Contribute as Emergency Response Coordinator.
  • Respond to and mitigate emergency situations at the facility inside or outside of normal business hours.
  • Conduct incident investigations.
  • Motivate and drive culture change toward zero incident EHS culture.
  • Follow all prescribed safety and environmental principles.
  • All other related duties as assigned.
