About The Position

The Analyst, Production Support - Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EH&S) is responsible for the implementation of environment, health, and safety programs for the Bloomington facility. This position works with all departments to ensure safety is incorporated in the daily work plans and schedules. The Analyst also ensures compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study from an accredited university required and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience required
  • In lieu of Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of experience, may consider an Associate's Degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience required
  • In lieu of Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of experience, may consider a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience required
  • Must comply with EHS responsibilities for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA reporting requirements, preferred
  • Familiarity of risk assessments, preferred
  • Understanding of GMP regulations, documentation, and requirements, preferred
  • Hazardous waste management experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of an effective EH&S program that meets all regulatory requirements
  • Draft necessary SOPs covering EH&S related activities
  • Provide training on EH&S procedures and policies
  • Assist in ensuring audit program is implemented and followed
  • Assist in conducting and updating risk assessments with assistance from EH&S Manager
  • Conduct annual agency reporting with assistance from EH&S Manager
  • Assist in leading the Safety Committee members through scheduled monthly meetings and help conduct monthly site audits
  • Assist the Safety Committee in developing metrics for measuring audit response time and establishing timelines for implementing various EH&S programs
  • Ensure contractor EH&S compliance and work with various departments
  • Conduct incident reporting with workers comp and annual reporting to OSHA
  • Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
  • Other duties as assigned
