PUMA is seeking an Analyst Inventory Control who will be responsible for independently analyzing inventory discrepancies, monitoring merchandise flow, and ensuring compliance with inventory control standards. This role involves supporting retail store teams, compiling, and analyzing inventory data, reconciling monthly inventory results, and managing vendor invoice verification. Independently analyze all inventory discrepancies and report outcomes to appropriate management. Monitor the flow of merchandise from warehouses, vendors, and inter-store transfers; make claims or adjustments, as necessary. Evaluate compliance related to inventory control and store performance through monthly reporting. Address compliance issues with stores/field managers to improve performance, including ASN receiving and reconciliation, cycle counting, and damage processing. Support training and development of PUMA stores through various communication methods (conference calls, written communications, presentations). Participate in store openings/closings and other corporate projects as required. Provide on-site leadership support and training for store teams, including report analysis and real-time guidance during RFID physical inventories. Compile and analyze physical inventory results; prepare regular shrink analysis to identify trends and facilitate awareness. Verify vendor invoices for payment by analyzing receiving vs. shipped quantities; report discrepancies to obtain credits. Compile reports, prepare analysis, and make business decisions in support of the Inventory Control Manager. Manage the Inventory Control team email account for the designated region, ensuring timely responses to store requests.
