About The Position

This role supports organizational goals by gathering and analyzing requirements for business applications across multiple channels. It primarily documents, validates, and traces requirements to ensure alignment with business needs and system capabilities. The role facilitates communication among stakeholders to reconcile conflicting needs and develop comprehensive solution work products. Success is measured by the accuracy of requirements, stakeholder consensus, and effective support of system and process improvements. The work impacts organizational efficiency and customer service by enabling cost-effective, user-aligned systems and procedures. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and will be based in Overland Park, KS.

  • Acceptable areas of study include Management Information Systems, IT, Business Administration or related field (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Working experience of systems analysis experience with understanding strategic business information systems. (Preferred)
  • Experience with SharePoint. (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Elicit and evaluate information from diverse sources to clarify true business needs and distinguish solution ideas from requests
  • Facilitate requirement sessions and produce comprehensive documentation including validation and traceability of requests
  • Utilize modeling techniques to graphically represent requirements and enhance textual documentation
  • Develop and manage a business analysis work plan to coordinate tasks, deliverables, and schedules with stakeholders and project management
  • Provide subject matter expertise and consulting support on complex tasks while initiating process and tool improvements
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance business analysis effectiveness and efficiency
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
