About The Position

Optimizes business operations by analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading cross-functional initiatives to implement solutions that drive measurable efficiency and performance gains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, process improvement, business strategic support (interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, forecast, statistical results) and other analytical functions.
  • Experience with and knowledge of electric utility business processes and the IT (Information Technology) systems that support them.
  • Proficient skills in the use of computer applications (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail as well as analytical and quantitative skills, such as statistics and data analysis.
  • Ability to analyze customer experience data and evaluate processes to support the optimization of future state operations and the customer experience looking for opportunities to continually improve the business.
  • Strong business analysis and documentation skills include problem definition, requirements definition, business process modeling and policy, process documentation, procedure documentation, and training material updates.
  • Superior organizational, time management and project planning skills to work independently in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through effective verbal and written communication to develop and maintain goal-oriented working relationships with all levels of staff in the organization and with third parties.
  • Strong facilitation skills to guide cross functional teams to a desired end-result.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions.
  • High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions.
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) Designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven problem statements and business cases, resulting in high-quality submissions to leadership and steering committees.
  • Monitors and synthesizes analysts and associate analysts’ contributions into actionable insights, providing informal leadership that strengthens team effectiveness and decision-making.
  • Collects and maintains comprehensive business documentation and training materials, addressing procedural gaps and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Prepares and implements process improvement initiatives by assessing business needs, mapping current and future states, and driving measurable operational enhancements.
  • Develops reports and dashboards to communicate findings clearly and support performance tracking.
  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
