About The Position

Due to growth, we are adding an Analyst, Benefits and HRIS to our team! The Analyst, Benefits and HRIS supports the strategic analysis, evaluation, and optimization of the organization’s benefits programs and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role partners closely with HR leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure benefit offerings and HR systems are effective, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals, while delivering accurate data, insights, and reporting to support informed decision‑making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or business‑related discipline, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • 3 years of progressive experience as a Human Resources professional required.
  • 2 years of experience in benefits administration or benefits analysis required.
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, including the ability to interpret and communicate trends and insights, required.
  • Technical proficiency with HRIS platforms and other HR-related software required.
  • General knowledge of core Human Resources functions, benefits administration, and EEO/AAP compliance requirements required.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Associate Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with IT, vendors, and cross‑functional HR teams to meet system, reporting, and integration requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies issues, trends, and opportunities within benefits programs and HRIS functionality through data analysis, system review, and market research; develops data‑driven recommendations to improve cost efficiency, effectiveness, and associate experience.
  • Analyzes benefits utilization, enrollment trends, costs, system performance, and associate satisfaction to support informed decision‑making and continuous program optimization.
  • Utilizes internal and external data sources to evaluate trends and assess the impact of benefits and HRIS programs, presenting insights and improvement opportunities to HR Operations leadership.
  • Generates, analyzes, and maintains HR and benefits reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Prepares summaries, reports, and presentations that translate complex benefits and HRIS data into clear, concise, and actionable information for HR Operations leadership.
  • Conducts market research in partnership with benefits brokers to ensure benefit offerings remain competitive, cost‑effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Assists in the maintenance, administration, and ongoing optimization of HRIS platforms, ensuring accurate associate data entry, updates, and system integrity.
  • Supports the design, testing, and implementation of HRIS enhancements, upgrades, and system integrations, partnering with vendors and internal teams as appropriate.
  • Ensures ongoing data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across HR and benefits systems through audits, validation processes, and issue resolution.
  • Provides user support, guidance, and training to HRIS users across the organization.
  • Investigates and resolves complex benefits discrepancies and supports the processing, reconciliation, and tracking of benefit‑related invoices and claims.
  • Serves as a backup to the Benefits and HRIS Coordinator, supporting day‑to‑day benefits administration in accordance with benefit contracts, organizational policies, and applicable laws, including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, Unemployment Compensation, and Workers’ Compensation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
