About The Position

Blue Owl is seeking an Analyst/Associate investor to join the Real Assets Net Lease Investment Team, with primary responsibility for tenant credit underwriting. The Real Assets platform originates, executes, and manages single-tenant, triple-net-lease investments, seeking attractive risk-adjusted returns. The role involves evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and business analysis, developing investment theses, preparing materials for investment committee review, supporting transaction closings, and monitoring portfolio companies.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or private credit; investment banking industry coverage, M&A, or leveraged finance experience is relevant but not required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments.
• Strong interest in investing.
• Team-oriented approach, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity.
• Strong accounting and corporate finance knowledge.
• Financial modeling aptitude.
• Ability to leverage AI as a tool to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential investment opportunities and participate in due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses.
• Conduct due diligence by reviewing target information and data rooms, researching industries, building financial models, reviewing financial statements, interacting with management, engaging consultants, and reviewing third-party reports.
• Prepare analyses and memorandums for internal discussions and formal investment committee approval processes.
• Participate in deal team discussions and presentations to the investment committee.
• Participate in transaction closings, including legal documentation.
• Conduct ongoing due diligence and monitor portfolio companies.
• Communicate portfolio updates orally and in writing to the investment committee and investors.
