About The Position

Blue Owl is seeking an Analyst/Associate investor to join its Real Assets Net Lease Investment Team, with primary responsibilities for tenant credit underwriting. The Real Assets platform is made up of seasoned investment professionals with diverse experience at leading investment firms and financial institutions. The team seeks attractive risk-adjusted returns by originating, executing, and managing single-tenant, triple-net-lease investments.

Requirements

1–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or private credit; investment banking industry coverage, M&A, or leveraged finance experience is relevant but not required.
Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments.
Strong interest in investing.
Team-oriented, enthusiastic, and intellectually curious, with an interest in learning.
Strong accounting and corporate finance knowledge, and financial modeling aptitude (required).

Ability to leverage AI as a tool to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

Analyze potential investment opportunities and participate in due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses.
Conduct due diligence, including reviewing target information and data rooms, researching industries, building financial models, reviewing financial statements, interacting with management, using consultants, and reviewing third-party reports.
Prepare analyses and memorandums for internal discussions and formal investment committee approval processes.
Participate in deal team discussions and presentations with the investment committee.
Participate in transaction closings, including legal documentation.
Conduct ongoing due diligence and monitoring of portfolio companies, and communicate updates orally and in writing to the investment committee and investors.
