About The Position

Summary: As a member of a centralized client service group, the Private Client Service Associate will provide onboarding and client service support to Neuberger Berman Wealth Advisor, Portfolio Management and Trust Company teams. The Associate will partner with Compliance, Business Control and Operations as a point of service contact to ensure a highly efficient and rewarding client experience. Responsibilities: Coordinate with Neuberger Berman’s Private Wealth management teams to provide administrative and support services to new and existing clients. Establish new accounts for natural person and entity clients. Duties include: document preparation, KYC data gathering and review, performing quality control check before submission for approval, documentation, account funding and information follow up. Process account maintenance requests including: KYC updates (name changes, personal data updates, address changes, investment objective updates, etc.), control and interested party updates, and account updates such as margin, check writing, options, etc. Address internal/external client service inquiries/requests. Resolve issues in a timely manner and escalate complex issues as necessary Identify and flag suspicious activity to mitigate risk and prevent fraudulent account behavior and potential fraud exposure Review and process requests for fund disbursements, gifting securities, ACATs and DTC transfers. Provide support for eClient (online reporting portal), including assisting client with initial setup and subsequent general inquiries. Alternative and Private Equity subscription document and marketing material fulfillment Establish and maintain electronic third party data feeds Ad hoc projects as assigned by management Qualifications: Undergraduate degree with relevant financial services industry experience Series 7 and 66 licenses or the ability to complete Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Professional presence with strong client service skills Well organized with excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritize workload based on evolving needs and circumstances and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Neuberger Berman is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with relevant financial services industry experience
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses or the ability to complete
  • Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
