About The Position

Assists the Asset Management team with overall asset management and daily execution of all elements of the IT Asset Management life cycle. Additional focus on modeling asset and ticket data fed from ITAM platform into PowerBI, and providing meaningful, actionable insights and dashboards from it.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems or Information Technology or related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT Asset hardware lifecycle management and 1+ year of experience in IT Asset Management
  • Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities and timely escalation to the Asset Manager for resolution, and multi-task.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with PowerBI
  • An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management
  • Problem solver

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Freshservice preferred
  • Familiarity with Audio/Visual hardware and Facilities work requests preferred
  • Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities and timely escalate to the Asset Manager for resolution

Responsibilities

  • Receive and action routine & complex work requests such as bulk orders, non-standard equipment requests.
  • Execute inventory maintenance and control, asset assignment, asset and/or data retention, asset reclamation, asset retirement and decommission, asset refurbishment and asset disposal.
  • Responsible for the execution of normal operations of the asset management life cycle (i.e. recording assets received by the organization and tracking location and users from purchase to disposal).
  • Data analysis and reporting in PowerBI for ITAM and Facilities.
  • Assist with Real Estate and Facilities related activities, including but not limited to maintenance of space allocation, act as a key contact for hoteling/space management software and facilities work requests.
  • Assist with A/V related activities, including but not limited to events and conference setups, and workplace technology offerings.
  • Identify process variances, in addition look for opportunities to improve processes and lower costs.
