About The Position

Apple is seeking an experienced Analog/Mixed-signal IP Design Engineering Lead to drive development of high-speed Analog and Mixed-signal IPs for System-on-Chips (SoCs), from concept through mass production. The role works with cross-functional teams—including SoC Integration, Technology/Library, SoC Design, SoC PD, SoC DV, CAD, software, and hardware—to support IP quality, schedule, and successful delivery for future Apple products. The position drives technical work across Apple SoC teams, coordinates with IP consumers, addresses technical concerns, tracks and resolves issues, and communicates complex information to partners and organizations at all levels. It also identifies risks, develops mitigation strategies, facilitates conflict resolution, and stays current with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience building high-speed Analog and Mixed-signal IPs, such as data converters, PLLs, or SerDes IPs.
  • Experience in either Analog-mixed-signal (AMS) IP design or design engineering management in the AMS space.
  • Strong leadership ability to lead technical teams, multifunctional groups, and vendors against plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of IP development processes, tools and flows, methodologies, and life cycle in an SoC environment.
  • Experience working on the latest technology nodes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in wireless standards such as LTE, WiFi, 5G, or mmWave.
  • Experience with SerDes and memory interfaces such as DDR.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of new and complex Analog/Mixed-signal IPs from early concept to mass production.
  • Work closely with SoC Integration teams to support high-level achievements for IP development.
  • Proactively drive technical work with Apple SoC teams, supervise work, resolve issues, and track bugs.
  • Lead weekly meetings with IP consumers to address technical concerns, provide updates, and foster collaboration.
  • Distill complex technical information into clear and concise communications for partners and organizations at all levels.
