About The Position

The AMO (Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul) Supervisor oversees downhole tool maintenance operations within the AMO Team, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with quality standards and safety protocols. The Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams, guides technicians, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Further, this role maintains a strong safety culture, compliance to standards and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensures effective collaboration with Operations, and drives efficiency, safety, and service excellence. Requirements

  • Have experience in AMO, maintenance operations, or a related technical field
  • Bring strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide technical teams
  • Have experience working with standardized processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Can manage day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with business unit personnel to define operational tasks, schedule maintenance activities, and lead technical issue resolution
  • Acting as the primary liaison between the maintenance team and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Ensuring implementation of standardized maintenance processes while allowing flexibility for operational needs
  • Ensuring compliance with established procedures and supporting continuous improvement across AMO operations
  • Supervising daily activities, assigning tasks, and monitoring team performance to ensure high-quality output
  • Providing coaching, technical guidance, and support to technicians to maintain efficient workflow and assist in maintenance as needed
  • Exercising discretion to adapt to Operation’s needs within agreed-upon limits while maintaining compliance
  • Participating in maintenance planning, resource allocation, and performance reporting
  • Analyzing data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization
