This role involves conducting adjudications, analysis, risk assessments, and investigations of general queue cases within Financial Crime Risk Management. The investigator will recommend demarking and/or freezing accounts by the appropriate investigative unit and provide support for moderate to very complex end-to-end investigations, including AML, Sanctions/ABAC Financial Crime, or digital evidence. The position requires prioritizing incoming investigation requests and conducting thorough analysis and research, applying new methodologies for analyzing digital evidence to reduce risk exposure. Support will be provided for case preparation, interviews, and ensuring proper documentation is obtained. The role also includes preparing and delivering seminars on AML, Sanctions/ABAC, and Financial Crime or fraud detection/loss prevention to internal areas of the Bank, while maintaining an understanding of emerging trends and applying knowledge of bank procedures, products, and systems.
