Paid Part-Time Afterschool 26/27 Positions (AmeriCorps) - REAPPLICATION ONLY
About The Position
This is a re-application opportunity for Paid Part-Time Afterschool AmeriCorps positions for the 2026/2027 program year. The program offers three types of roles: General Afterschool Role, Learning Role, and RecSports Role. Ideal availability is between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Selected candidates available to start in early August will initially be paid hourly ($14/hour) and will transition to AmeriCorps status with associated benefits around August 17th, once AmeriCorps funding is officially awarded. The hourly pay will cease upon this transition.
Requirements
- Re-application only.
- Availability between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
- Candidates selected and available to start on time (early August) will begin as hourly paid employees and then change over formally to the title of AmeriCorps and begin receiving all applicable benefits around August 17th.

Responsibilities
- Lead varying structured learning and enrichment activities afterschool with elementary and/or middle school students.
- Facilitate components of and implement incentives for elementary and middle school students as part of the on-site afterschool computer learning lab.
- Plan and implement structured health and recreational activities for both elementary and middle school students as part of the afterschool program.
