About The Position
LTC Language Solutions is looking for skilled American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters in the Lafayette area. This role involves providing high-quality, in-person sign language interpretation at various client locations, ensuring accurate interpretation in medical and community settings. The interpreter will be responsible for ensuring language access and providing excellent customer service. A strong understanding of sign language and Deaf culture is essential.
Requirements
- 3+ years of ASL interpreting experience
- Passionate about providing language access
- Adherence to the RID Interpreter Code of Ethics
- Strong understanding of sign language and Deaf culture
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in American Sign Language
- NIC/IIC Certification
Responsibilities
