About The Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled American Sign Language (ASL) Instructor to lead after-school classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching the fundamentals of ASL in an engaging and supportive environment. The program runs from October to November, with classes held on Tuesdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at our New Haven, CT location.
Requirements
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Experience working with children in a K-5 age range.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Reliable and punctual.

- Previous experience teaching ASL.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Experience in an after-school program setting.
Responsibilities
