About The Position

The Amenity Attendant – Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of shared amenity spaces within a residential community. This position plays an important role in ensuring that fitness centers, lounges, multi-purpose rooms, and other common areas are clean, organized, and ready for resident use and scheduled activities.

Requirements

Paying Attention to details: finger marks to dust specks to empty soap dispensers
Remembering regular customers’ names and making them feel special
Spending long hours on your feet, carrying and moving items
Learning how to operate industrial equipment
Being quick to take action or report anything that is out of place

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of fitness centers, lounges, resident rooms, and other shared amenity spaces.
Clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, furniture, fitness equipment, high-touch areas, and other designated areas.
Monitor amenity spaces throughout the day and address cleaning needs as they arise.
Clean and reset multi-use spaces between scheduled events, functions, classes, and resident activities.
Assist with basic setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events and functions.
Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean and orderly waste areas.
Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and other amenity supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of amenity restrooms and other designated areas.
Report maintenance issues, spills, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to management.
Assist in maintaining storage and supply areas in an organized manner.
Provide courteous and professional service to residents, guests, and building staff.
Follow established cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and community policies.
Perform other porter, cleaning, and amenity-related duties as assigned.
