About The Position

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, Ingalls Memorial Hospital as an Ambulatory Supply Chain Associate in our Supply Chain department. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area. Job Summary Utilizing supply chain systems and processes, complete receiving, delivery, ordering, proper storage of goods and/or services to clinical customers within assigned facility, ensuring that all receiving and deliveries are completed daily. Oversee any receiving/delivery discrepancies, works directly with vendors, delivery drivers, supply chain resources and clinical staff, to resolve.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience in the same or closely related position familiar with inventory control, Helios, Oracle, or similar applications.
  • Understanding of the inventory function in a distribution environment.
  • Computer literacy is also required along with interpersonal skills with all levels of people within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing Purchase Order and packing documents, ensure that correct amount and part # are received into supply chain ambulatory operations system.
  • Effectively operates all supply chain management systems including, but not limited to Oracle Cloud, RF Smart, Controltex, Helios, Smartsheet and MS Office.
  • Ensures that all product/services received and delivered through the receiving area are delivered to the requesting location in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for stocking/ordering of supplies and linen to clean supply closets.
  • Oversee outbound deliveries – completing processes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
