About The Position

Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates the clinical and business operations of a single-specialty facility. Cases at a single-specialty center are less complex, require less staffing, do not require anesthesia services, and are shorter in duration than many cases at a multi-specialty center. The position works a day shift, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
Six years of recent relevant experience.
Clinical proficiency and knowledge to plan and coordinate patient care consistent with applicable standards and regulations.
Working knowledge and thorough understanding of applicable state, federal, local, and accreditation standards and requirements.
Knowledge of emerging trends and regulatory changes and their operational impacts.
Solid understanding of operations and workflows, including how departmental processes affect other departments.
Understanding of business and operational requirements and the ability to establish goals for long- and short-term objectives.
Commitment to exceptional customer service and prompt, courteous responses to customer needs and requests.
Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey concepts and information clearly to management and employees.
Ability to work and interact with a diverse population, respect cultural and linguistic differences, and foster an inclusive work environment.
