This role involves greeting and registering patients, answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing medical charts. The position requires providing excellent customer service, obtaining accurate patient and insurance information, and ensuring insurance pre-certification and referral requirements are met. The representative will also assist in identifying self-pay patients and referring them to financial assistance, and maintain open communication with various departments and clinical staff. Additionally, there is an opportunity to assist in the shadowing and precepting of new employees.
