Ambulatory Nurse, General Cardiology
About The Position
Main Line Health's Lankenau Heart Group, a large and collaborative cardiology practice, is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse. This role supports patients through care coordination, telephone triage, follow-up communication, and collaboration with providers in a busy ambulatory setting. The practice consists of 13 cardiologists and 4 advanced practitioners dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive heart care. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented practice where nurses, physicians, advanced practitioners, and support staff work together to provide exceptional service and coordinated care for cardiology patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program
- Current Pennsylvania RN license
- Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an ambulatory, cardiology, specialty practice, or clinical nursing setting
- Strong telephone triage and patient communication skills
- Experience with medication refills
- Experience with care coordination
- Knowledge of insurance information
