About The Position
The Medical Office LPN, working under the supervision of the Site Manager, provides patient care in support of multiple healthcare providers and performs clinical, technical, and clerical duties to support quality patient care. The LPN collaborates with physicians, other healthcare providers, support staff, and other disciplines in planning and coordinating patient care. The role requires maintaining current technical-procedure knowledge and skills, complying with regulatory and accrediting standards, and holding an active Massachusetts LPN license. The position is in Urology and is listed as 24 hours and benefits eligible.
Requirements
- Nursing degree required.
- Current license to practice nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration; must maintain the license.
- Must maintain BLS certification.
- Excellent communication skills for educating and assisting patients and interacting with providers and staff.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Office experience is preferred.
