Ambulatory Clinical Tech Part Time
About The Position
Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, including over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices. The Ambulatory Clinical Tech acts as a team member in delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN). The role supports examination and treatment of patients, facilitates clinic flow, and provides excellent patient care. The technician performs basic skills according to department guidelines and policies and communicates observations to members of the health care team. This is a part-time position in the Urgent Care Virtual - Medical Group West department at 515 Michigan St NE in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The position is scheduled for 20 hours per week, with day-shift hours that may be 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Workdays are variable Monday through Friday, and weekend frequency is variable. Required BLS certification may be obtained within 90 days of hire through either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days, or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
