About The Position

Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, including over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices. Clinic team members have opportunities to learn about different areas of care or specialize in one area.

The Ambulatory Clinical Tech acts as a team member in delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN). The role supports the examination and treatment of patients, helps facilitate clinic flow, and provides excellent patient care. The tech performs basic skills according to department guidelines and policies and communicates observations to members of the health care team.

This full-time position is in the OBGYN 221 Michigan department at the North Office Building in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The schedule is a day shift, Tuesday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for 40 scheduled hours per week. Weekend work is not scheduled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days, or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assist with the examination and treatment of patients.
• Help facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
• Perform basic skills according to department guidelines and policies.
• Communicate observations to members of the health care team.
