About The Position
The Ambulatory Clinical Tech works as part of a team delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN). The role supports examination and treatment of patients, facilitates clinic flow, and helps provide excellent patient care. The technician performs basic skills according to department guidelines and policies and communicates observations to members of the health care team. The position is in the Gastroenterology Lakewood Care Center at the Care Center Lakewood site in Holland, Michigan. It is full-time, with 40 scheduled hours per week. The listed schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with no weekend frequency indicated.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse.
- Assist with examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
- Perform basic skills according to department guidelines and policies.
- Communicate observations to members of the health care team.
