About The Position

Corewell Health Enhanced Primary Care is a value-based family practice serving patients across the lifespan. Its proactive, team-based model coordinates services, closes care gaps, and helps prevent avoidable emergency department visits and hospitalizations. Medical Assistants and the Ambulatory Care Team work in a pod-based structure to support patient-centered care, workflow efficiency, and team accountability.

The Ambulatory Clinical Tech works under the supervision of a provider or Registered Nurse to support quality patient care and clinic flow. The role includes rooming patients, collecting vital signs, assisting with minor office procedures, performing basic department-specific skills, and communicating observations to the health care team. Additional duties include EPIC In Basket work, processing FMLA and short-term disability requests, and answering phones.

This full-time position is based at the Care Center Wyoming in Wyoming, Michigan. It is a day-shift role with variable hours between 6:45 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 36 scheduled hours per week. Weekend work is not scheduled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Support quality patient care and clinic flow under the supervision of a provider or Registered Nurse.
• Room patients and collect vital signs.
• Assist with minor office procedures.
• Perform basic skills in accordance with department guidelines and policies.
• Communicate observations to members of the health care team.
• Complete EPIC In Basket work.
