About The Position

Our gastroenterology practice works with a dedicated team of physicians and advanced practice providers in collaboration to deliver top-notch patient care. Our physicians and APPs work both in clinic and in hospital to provide patient care. Additionally, our physicians work in multiple endoscopy spaces performing outpatient procedures. Our space includes multiple subspecialty teams ensuring comprehensive treatment. With a warm and inviting atmosphere we prioritize strong teamwork, allowing us to support one another in providing exceptional care. Together we strive for seamless operations and positive patient experiences every day. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team. It will also include rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures. EPIC In basket work. Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work. Answering phones.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
