About The Position

This team member will serve in a clinical and clerical role. The team members deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider; they also provide clerical support in complex matters to assist in the delivery of value-driven health care services. The Neurosciences team consists of a driven group of physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical, and clerical support staff that support 5 different subspecialities including: Neurosurgery, Epilepsy, Neurovascular Stroke, General Neurology, and Movement Disorders. The providers in our practice provide both inpatient and outpatient care to patients and can be seen in the Operating Room (OR), Interventional Radiology (IR), and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) in Butterworth Hospital. We emphasize strong teamwork, adaptability, and determination to provide exceptional patient care and positive experiences for our patients. Our team is full of talented individuals striving for efficient operations and mutual respect in the spirit of camaraderie. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience
• 2 years of clinical care experience
