About The Position
This position functions as a team member in delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN). The role involves assisting in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Key duties include performing basic skills according to department guidelines and policies, communicating observations to the healthcare team, rooming patients, collecting vital signs, and assisting in minor office procedures. Additional responsibilities include managing EPIC in-basket tasks, processing FMLA and short-term disability paperwork, and answering phones.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
Responsibilities

- Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team.
- Rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures.
- EPIC In basket work.
- Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work.
- Answering phones.
