Ambulatory Clinical Clerical Tech
About The Position
This team member serves in a clinical and clerical role, delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a therapist, rehabilitation management, a Registered Nurse (RN), or a provider. The role also provides clerical support in complex matters to help deliver value-driven health care services. The team member performs activities according to department guidelines, communicates observations to members of the health care team, and performs maintenance and cleaning duties related to department operations. The position is based at the Care Center Lake Drive in Grand Rapids, in the Internal Medicine Lake Drive Care Center - Medical Group West department. It is full time, with 40 scheduled hours per week, working four 10-hour shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, on the day shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, GED, vocational training, related classes, or relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required within 90 days.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support, or another related area.
- Two years of clinical care experience.
