About The Position

Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, with over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices. This role is based in Pediatric Neurology and combines clinical and clerical work. Under the supervision of a therapist, rehabilitation management, a Registered Nurse, or a provider, the team member delivers quality patient care and provides clerical support for complex matters to help deliver value-driven health care services. The team member performs activities according to department guidelines, communicates observations to the health care team, and completes maintenance and cleaning duties related to department operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, GED, vocational training, related classes, or relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support, or another related area.
• Two years of clinical care experience.
