About The Position
This is a part-time, clinical and clerical role within a teaching clinic that supports Adult Plastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery Residency, General Surgery Residency, and Orthopedic Surgery Residency. The team member will deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider, and also provide clerical support in complex matters to assist in the delivery of value-driven health care services. The individual will work closely with supervising physicians and residents, playing an integral role in their teaching and development. The clinic serves a unique and often complex patient population, including the underserved.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience
- 2 years of clinical care experience
