We are a teaching clinic with resident physicians who practice alongside supervising physicians to improve healthcare through education and research. This partnership allows our physicians to provide quality care to all our patients. The ACT is an essential role to our clinic to provide increased continuity of care to a unique population of patients. The individual will work very closely with the supervising physicians as well as the residents. The ACT plays an integral role in the teaching and development of the resident physicians. They will learn advanced skills and expand upon their medical knowledge to provide exceptional patient care in tandem with the providers they work with. Our patients come from all backgrounds, and each have their own unique and often complex care needs. We serve the underserved and are proud to provide this service to our community. The position will support Adult Plastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery Residency, General Surgery Residency, and Orthopedic Surgery Residency. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
