About The Position

The Ambulatory Clinic Nurse provides ambulatory clinic care by assessing, planning, directing, evaluating, and performing patient-care skills in CMH clinics. The nurse coordinates services for assigned patients and provides professional nursing care in compliance with professional practice standards. The role promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach with patients, families, and the care delivery team. CMH caregivers contribute to the hospital’s success by providing remarkable customer service to the community. The position also maintains a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere while performing general office duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current unencumbered Oregon RN License.
• Current unencumbered Washington State RN License.
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures and of good patient-care techniques for medical or surgical care, including multiple monitoring techniques.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Assessment skills for all age groups.
• Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English.
• Ability to operate office machines and medical-related equipment.
• Flexibility and willingness to acquire or perform new skills and adapt to a changing environment.
• Previous experience with ambulatory clinic chronic disease management.

Nice To Haves

• BSN.
• Ambulatory clinic experience within the past 2 years.
• Previous experience with vaccines and immunization schedules.

Responsibilities
