The Ambulatory Care Nurse will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures. This role involves participation in site and organizational quality and performance improvement activities, systematic collection of patient healthcare data using appropriate assessment techniques and instruments, and collaboration with licensed providers to develop patient-centered care plans with interventions to achieve expected outcomes. The nurse provides comprehensive care, including administration of treatments and medications, monitoring for adverse events or symptoms, disease prevention guidance, rehabilitation care, public health care, and supportive care for symptom relief through health teaching and counseling.
